HB 1837 - DIGEST

(SUBSTITUTED FOR - SEE 1ST SUB)

     Requires the department to enter into an extended grant contract for the prevention and mitigation of water pollution to the federally designated sole source aquifer in the Spokane Rathdrum Prairie.

     Requires the contract to provide five million dollars annually and shall terminate at the end of the 2003-2005 biennium.
