     Specifies the types of activities which an appraiser may perform.

     Establishes regulations for real estate appraisers.

     Requires an appraiser to be state-certified or state-licensed to receive compensation for an appraisal after July 1, 1997.

     Exempts some individuals from the license requirement.

     Provides for the appointment of an expert appraiser roster to review appraisals.

     Repeals RCW 18.140.085.
