HB 1860 - DIGEST

(SUBSTITUTED FOR - SEE 2ND SUB)

     Declares that a trainee real property appraiser may not provide appraisal services other than under the direct supervision of a state-certified real estate appraiser.

     Creates the real estate appraiser education account.

     Provides civil remedies and criminal penalties for violations of the act.

     Repeals RCW 18.140.085.

     Authorizes appraisers to file a lien on the property for nonpayment of appraisal fees.
