HB 1963 - DIGEST

     Prohibits any person from practicing clinical laboratory science without being licensed as specified by the act.

     Designates exemptions from the license requirement.

     Creates a clinical laboratory board and specifies its duties and powers.

     Establishes a schedule of fees.

     Designates standards for licensure.

     Establishes disciplinary procedures.

     Makes it a misdemeanor offense to do laboratory testing without a license.
