HB 1997 - DIGEST

     Designates the circumstances when a court may order a person to obtain involuntary outpatient treatment.

     Establishes hearing procedures.

     Requires a definite beginning and end for the period of commitment.

     Requires each regional support network to have its own psychiatric review board.
