HB 2003-S - DIGEST

(DIGEST OF PROPOSED 1ST SUBSTITUTE)

     Declares a need to conduct a preliminary analysis on the infrastructure and logistic needs necessary for the Cascadia region to host a summer Olympic Games.

     Makes appropriations of ninety thousand dollars to carry out the purposes of the act.

     Requires an equal match of the appropriation by the port of Seattle and private sector groups involved in tourism.
