HB 2100 - DIGEST

 

     Requires a governmental entity to pay compensation to the owner of a parcel of real property for a restriction on the use of the property that reduces the fair market value of the owner's monetary interest by twenty-five percent or more.

     Specifies situations where the compensation requirement shall not apply.

     Prohibits a governmental entity from requiring a property owner to provide or pay for studies, maps, plans, or reports used in the consideration of a regulation or restriction on the use of land.

     Provides for enforcement of the act in superior court.
