HB 2143 - DIGEST

     Provides for establishment of the process before February 1, 1997, for initial implementation in the 1997-98 school year.

     Designates the requirements to be eligible for the diploma.

     Requires recommendations to the legislature on methods to reimburse the school districts for costs of the program.

     Prohibits four-year institutions from requiring a diploma for admission from home educated students.
