(DIGEST AS ENACTED)

     Provides for the registration of adult family home providers and resident managers.

     Provides definitions to clarify the roles of providers and of resident managers.

     Requires a multiple facility operator to demonstrate financial solvency and management experience for the homes under its ownership and the ability to meet safety, health, and operating standards, including ways to mitigate the potential impact of vehicular traffic related to the operation of the home.

     Requires providers who operate more than one home to register for each separate location.
