HB 2212 - DIGEST

(AS OF HOUSE 2ND READING 1/26/96)

     Amends RCW 82.04.050 to delete the following from the definition of "sale at retail" or "retail sale":  (1) Charges for the use of coin-operated laundry facilities for tenants in lodgings;

     (2) landscape maintenance and horticultural services;

     (3) service charges for tickets to professional sporting events;

     (4) guided tours and guided charters;

     (5) physical fitness services;

     (6) tanning salon services;

     (7) tattoo parlor services;

     (8) steam or turkish bath services;

     (9) escort services; and

     (10) the rental of equipment with an operator.
