HB 2275 - DIGEST

     Requires retail establishments that accept computer hardware as trade-ins to make and keep a record of the transaction.

     Lists the information to be included.

     Requires a prompt report to a law enforcement agency if a retailer has reason to suspect the hardware has been lost or stolen.

     Provides a gross misdemeanor offense for altering or obliterating a serial number.
