(DIGEST AS ENACTED)

     Authorizes a technology fee at the institutions of higher education not to exceed one hundred twenty dollars in academic year 1996-97.

     Requires the revenues from the fees to be used exclusively for technology resources for general student use.

     Authorizes the student associations to abolish the fee by a majority vote.
