HB 2309 - DIGEST

     Amends provisions of chapter 18.35 RCW relating to the regulation of hearing and speech professions.

     Requires a joint study to develop consensus recommendations regarding the merits of requiring a two-year degree as an entry level requirement for licensing hearing instrument fitter/dispensers.

     Requires the report by January 1, 2000.

     Repeals RCW 18.35.170.
