HB 2321 - DIGEST

     Establishes the crime of domestic violence homicide by abuse, which shall be a class A felony.

     Provides that the prevention of, or attempt to prevent, any person from reporting a crime to a law enforcement officer is a gross misdemeanor offense.

     Declares that the causing of a victim's death or mental or physical impairment when the foreseeable result of the crime is the loss of support to the victim's child is an aggravating circumstance for the purpose of sentencing.
