HB 2382 - DIGEST

     Deletes the requirement for reporting suspected abuse to DSHS.

     Requires a law enforcement agency that receives a report of suspected abuse to notify the suspect of the report.

     Requires records of the allegation to be destroyed if the report is determined to be false.

     Requires persons making false reports to be liable for the costs of investigating and prosecuting the case.
