(DIGEST AS ENACTED)

     Provides for uniform standards in adult and juvenile criminal prosecutions.

     Establishes a juvenile prosecutorial standards pilot project in two counties to study the implementation of the standards for a report by December 12, 1996.

     Requires the report to include the reasons for charging decisions cross-tabulated with offender characteristics such as race, age, and type of crime.
