HB 2423 - DIGEST

     Encourages planning for increased public electronic access.

     Promotes two-way electronic interaction and delivery technologies.

     Provides for payment of costs through fees.

     Establishes a pilot project to design and test an electronic information locator system.

     Requires accuracy, integrity, and privacy in the records.

     Increases the appropriation for the state library for the pilot project.

     Provides that the act shall be null and void if appropriations are not approved.
