HB 2483 - DIGEST

 

     Declares that the responsibility of the council is to make airport siting recommendations that reflect the interest of the entire state.

     Refers the issue to the council when the transportation commission determines that there is an impasse in determining the location of an airport.

     Establishes procedures for the adoption or rejection of the council's recommended site by the governor and the legislature.

     Makes an appropriation of five hundred thousand dollars to carry out the purposes of the act.
