(DIGEST AS ENACTED)

     Revises provisions relating to the taxation of railroad-related businesses.

     Reduces the public utility tax rate for the businesses to 1.926 percent.

     Removes the rental of rail cars from the public utility tax and makes the rentals subject to sales tax.
