HB 2595 - DIGEST

(DIGEST AS ENACTED)

     Amends RCW 46.55.113 and 46.55.120 relating to court procedures following the impoundment of vehicles.

     Requires a notice of the opportunity for a hearing on an impoundment to be provided by the tow-truck operator.

     Authorizes the courts to consider a written report under oath by a law enforcement officer in lieu of a personal appearance.

     Repeals RCW 46.20.435.
