HB 2648 - DIGEST

     Increases the penalty from a class C to a class B felony.

     Provides that a person is guilty of murder in the second degree if a death occurs during the attempt to elude a police vehicle.

     Declares that neither the officer or the municipality shall be civily liable for injury or damage that occurs as a result of a person attempting to elude a police vehicle.
