HB 2678 - DIGEST

     Provides that an abortion may be performed lawfully only in a hospital accredited by the joint commission on accreditation of hospitals, or at a medical facility approved for that purpose by the state board of health.

     Provides that a report on a form produced by the department of health shall be certified and filed with the department by the physician who performed the abortion no later than ten days following the day on which the abortion was performed.
