HB 2696 - DIGEST

     Provides that the inspector general shall investigate allegations of improper actions by the department based on referrals received from employees working within the department, the secretary of the department, the office of the attorney general, or from a hotline established for the purpose of reporting alleged improper actions.

     Provides that the act shall be null and void if appropriations are not approved.
