(DIGEST AS ENACTED)

     Directs the department of revenue to perform a study to:  (1) Determine the current and potential impact of warehouse and distribution activity on the Washington economy;

     (2) analyze how the current tax structure affects warehouse and distribution activity;

     (3) evaluate alternative methods of taxing warehouse and distribution activity;

     (4) identify the effects of tax incentives for warehouse and distribution activity; and

     (5) evaluate the impact of any potential changes in taxation.

     Provides for an advisory study committee.

     Declares that the study is contingent on a contribution of forty-five thousand dollars from a nonstate source.

     Provides that the act shall be null and void if appropriations are not approved.
