HB 2719 - DIGEST

     Provides that, except as follows, a candidate's or nominee's name may not appear more than once upon the same ballot:  (1) A candidate for precinct committee officer may also have his or her name appear on the same ballot as a candidate or nominee for another office; and

     (2) a candidate or nominee for a special district elective office may have his or her name appear on the same ballot as a candidate or nominee for another special district elective office.
