HB 2734 - DIGEST

     Provides that a true copy of a map produced or reproduced by any municipal, school district, county, or transit authority engineer for the purpose of depicting the location and boundaries of the area on or within the radius of one-quarter of a mile or three city blocks of any property used for a school may be used by a court or community corrections officer to determine the location and  boundaries of schools.

     Requires that, as a condition of the suspended sentence or community placement, the court must order the defendant to refrain from establishing or maintaining a residence within the radius of one-quarter of a mile or three city blocks of the perimeter of a school ground.
