HB 2852 - DIGEST

     Allows separated school employees to continue their participation in insurance plans and contracts if participation is selected immediately upon separation from employment.

     Provides that separated school employees who, upon separation did not continue their participation in insurance plans and contracts may participate in insurance plans and contracts only if participation is selected immediately upon receiving a retirement allowance under RCW 41.32.875.
