HB 2876 - DIGEST

     Provides that the county legislative authority of every county, except a county within which public transportation services are being provided by a municipality as defined in RCW 35.58.272 and in which taxes are being imposed to support public transportation services under RCW 82.14.045 and 35.95.040, may establish a specialized transportation needs district, either county-wide or less than county-wide.

     Authorizes the counties to impose a special excise tax on motor vehicles in the county.
