HB 2914 - DIGEST

     Provides that the activity of cleaning up any site, that has been reported to the department of ecology, upon which a substance designated as "hazardous waste" under the model toxics control act, chapter 70.105D RCW, has been released shall be taxable at the rate of 0.484 percent multiplied by the gross income of the business attributed to such activities.

     Declares that the tax imposed by RCW 82.08.020 shall not apply to the sale of tangible personal property for use in any activity taxable under this act.

     Declares that the provisions of chapter 82.12 RCW shall not apply to the use of tangible personal property for use in any activity taxable under this act.
