SB 5024-S - DIGEST

     Requires copayments of at least three dollars per visit.

     Deposits all copayments into the general fund.

     Does not require payment for emergency treatment or in cases where the offender is indigent.

     Requires offenders to be given an initial medical examination upon entry into the adult correctional system.
