     Revises the types of information to be provided to a prosecuting attorney when a sexually violent predator may be released.

     Revises the hearing procedures for making a determination that a person may be a sexually violent predator.

     Provides for detention of a person pending a final determination.

     Establishes procedures for a determination of whether a conditional release to a less restrictive confinement is appropriate.

     Specifies the legal rights which a person subjected to restricted liberty will retain.

     Establishes procedures for hearings on whether a conditionally released person is complying with the terms and conditions of the release.

     Provides notification requirements upon the escape of a sexually violent offender.

     Allows an escorted leave to visit a seriously ill family member or to attend a funeral of a family member.

     Repeals RCW 71.09.100.
