SB 5157 - DIGEST

(SUBSTITUTED FOR - SEE 2ND SUB)

     Requires the development of rules to regulate the mixed stock recreational fisheries of the state to limit the taking of chinook and coho salmon to hatchery origin fish only so as to allow the maximum survival of naturally spawned salmon.

     Makes an appropriation of five million dollars to carry out the purposes of the act.
