SB 5170-S - DIGEST

     Directs each juvenile justice or care agency to implement a policy that facilitates disclosure of information to the extent allowed by federal and state law.

     Provides immunity from civil liability for damages to any official or employee who discloses information in accordance with the act, unless the individual acted with gross negligence or in bad faith.

     Calls for the development of a handbook to assist in the correct sharing of juvenile records.
