SB 5223 - DIGEST

     Authorizes an assessor to request that a committee be formed to determine the level and duration of funding necessary to complete the listing and the valuation of property of the county within the time prescribed by law.

     Authorizes the committee to recommend a level of funding for a specified number of years to be provided on an annual basis to the assessor's office by the county legislative office.

     Creates the assessors' assistance fund.
