SB 5241 - DIGEST

     Directs county legislative authorities to enter into agreements with private entities to undertake as appropriate, together with the department of transportation and other public entities, all or a portion of the planning, construction, operation, and maintenance of transportation systems, using in whole or in part private sources of financing.

     Provides for the development of up to six demonstration projects.

     Encourages the use of federal funds as available.
