SB 5296 - DIGEST

     Makes technical revisions to chapter 70.38 RCW.

     Directs the department, by December 1, 1995, to provide recommendations to the legislature on what, if any, system needs to be maintained by the state to assess quality and access issues of health services and facilities.

     Provides that the act shall not have the effect of terminating, or modifying, the validity of a certificate of need issued before July 1, 1995.

     Repeals RCW 70.38.095, 70.38.105, 70.38.111, 70.38.115, 70.38.125, and 70.38.220.
