SB 5326-S - DIGEST

(DIGEST AS ENACTED)

     Requires sex offenders who are under the jurisdiction of the United States probation service to register.

     Requires sex offenders convicted under federal statutes, or the laws of Canada, to register.

     Requires offenders who move out-of-state to notify the sheriff.

     Requires offenders who are found not guilty by reason of insanity to register.

     Directs the county sheriffs to verify the address of the offenders.
