     Declares an intent to encourage the development of temporary and permanent housing for workers that is safe and sanitary by establishing a clear and concise set of regulations for temporary housing, establishing a streamlined permitting process, and providing technical assistance to organizations or individuals interested in the development of worker housing.

     Provides that it is unlawful to operate a temporary worker housing operation that is not in compliance with the act.

     Makes an appropriation of forty-nine thousand dollars to carry out the purposes of the act.
