SB 5565 - DIGEST

     Declares that ordering divorced parents to provide financial assistance toward postsecondary education is unduly burdensome and infringes on the right of the divorced parent to choose the level of assistance they would otherwise provide if they remained married.

     Prohibits courts from ordering either or both parents to pay support for postsecondary education of a child over eighteen years of age.

     Repeals RCW 26.19.090.
