     Provides counties with an option to reacquire total control of all or part of state forest board transfer lands, within their respective boundaries, that are being administered by the department of natural resources.

     Requires the lands to be kept in commercial forest status.

     Declares that state or federal restrictions on log export will apply to county forest lands.

     Requires management of the lands using state of the art silviculture practices.

     Provides for limited public access to the lands.
