SB 5598 - DIGEST

     Provides for the appointment of an advisory committee to assist in developing and revising criteria by which projects will be ranked and to propose a prioritized list of projects for funding each year.

     Requires ten percent of the funds available for appropriation each biennium from the water quality account to be appropriated to the state conservation commission.

     Requires the funds to be used for grants to local conservation districts for nonpoint water pollution control activities.
