SB 5685 - DIGEST

     Calls for the development of a plan for unique titling and registration of significantly damaged vehicles, to propose measures that are consistent with federal requirements, and to prevent the sale of damaged vehicles and parts which are unsafe to an unsuspecting citizen.

     Prescribes penalties for violations of the act.

     Designates the conditions for operation of a vehicle wrecker business.

     Repeals RCW 46.80.055.
