     Authorizes Seattle to levy an excise tax of two percent on the furnishing of lodging beginning January 1, 2000.

     Allows a credit against the state sales tax.

     Requires funds to be used for expansion of the state trade and convention center.

     Delays the reduction in the state lodging tax rate in King county until all debt is retired.

     Authorizes hotel/motel taxes for additional cities and counties to be used for major tourism destination attractions.

     Allows the operation of the Kingdome by a private entity.
