SB 5961 - DIGEST

     Prohibits a local government from enacting any ordinance that prohibits a telecommuting work center in areas zoned for commercial use or areas zoned for a combination of commercial and residential uses.

     Authorizes the department of transportation to contract for the development and implementation of a telecommuting work center demonstration project.

     Makes an appropriation of one hundred fifty thousand dollars to carry out the purposes of the act.
