SB 6007 - DIGEST

     Creates a pilot program for educational advancement grants to economically disadvantaged families to be used for tuition and other costs at public and private schools.

     Authorizes fifty grants for the 1995-96 school year and fifty grants for the 1996-97 school year.

     Designates criteria for receipt of the grants.

     Requires a report on the results of the program on January 10, 1996, and on January 10, 1997.
