SB 6081 - DIGEST

     Requires an examination of the effectiveness of water resource planning done on a local basis.

     Directs the examination on a pilot basis on the Duwamish-Green, upper Chehalis, Entiat, middle Snake, Yakima and Naches rivers.

     Requires a majority vote of all county legislative authorities to initiate the pilot projects.

     Expires June 30, 1997.

     Makes an appropriation of two million five hundred thousand dollars to carry out the purposes of the act.
