SB 6336 - DIGEST

(SUBSTITUTED FOR - SEE 2ND SUB)

     Directs the board to establish state-wide water policy and guidelines consistent with statutory law regarding the water resource and water quality programs and policies administered by the departments of ecology and health.

     Includes a process for the development and approval of regional water resource plans, in-stream flow levels, hydraulic continuity, augmentation of water supplies, aquifer management, and water transfers.

     Makes an appropriation of three hundred fifty thousand dollars to carry out the purposes of the act.
