SB 6414 - DIGEST

(DIGEST AS ENACTED)

     Requires an individual filing a new claim for unemployment insurance to be advised that the payments are subject to federal income tax and that the individual may elect to have the tax deducted from the payments.

     Takes effect December 31, 1996.
