SB 6512 - DIGEST

     Provides that a commercial telephone solicitor is in violation of chapter 19.158 RCW if he or she engages in the telephone solicitation of a person who is identified, in a published telephone directory available for general use, as a person who does not wish to receive any telephone solicitation.

     Directs the commission to require telecommunications companies to provide for identification in a telephone directory of persons who do not wish to receive telephone solicitations.
