SB 6539 - DIGEST

     Authorizes the petitioner from a commitment hearing to appeal a superior court or mental health commissioner's order releasing a person from commitment under chapter 71.05 RCW on the grounds that the committed person during the period of court-ordered treatment threatened, attempted to inflict, or inflicted physical harm upon the person of another or substantial damage upon the property of another as a result of mental disorder or developmental disability, and presents a likelihood of serious harm to others.
